Age ain't nothing but a number...

Carmen Dell'Orefice
While watching the TODAY SHOW a few weeks ago, I stumbled across a segment that inspired me so, I felt compelled to write about it. It was about an 81 year old fashion model…YES, I said 81. I’m not talking about a onetime “bucket list” experience that someone who just celebrated their  81st birthday wanted to do, just to say they did it. NO, she had been modeling since

Other people's affairs...

gossiping

Are you a busybody? You just may be if you’re a person who “forces” yourself into the lives and affairs of others; or if you’re a gossiper, a troublemaker, or a talebearer concerning someone else. You know the ones whose lives are “so together”, that they have sooo much time on their hands to judge and worry about others…yeah, right! Yep, we all have come across them at some point in our lives, and yes, some of us have even been guilty ourselves, but

Five Minute Friday

Thanks to my new cyber friend Denise, I have stumbled onto this new craze in blogger world called “Five Minute Friday”(presented by Lisa Jo-Baker). When I decided to make Jesus my Lord and Savior, I finally (at least I thought) felt “accepted’. You see, sometimes in the so-called “church world”, you still deal with

God's love...the great equalizer!

God's love
If we can’t group ourselves in this category, I’m pretty sure many of us know someone who does fit the bill; fact is, way too many of us have gone through life and some have even died prematurely, NOT fulfilling even a tiny bit of what God planned for us. We’ve missed out on great opportunities; hiding behind the walls of our past, or even hiding behind others; because we’re concerned about how people remember us or how they view us now. My husband taught in a message once that, “God loves me madly and He could CARE LESS what you
